Reel Obsession is incredible. I've been twice in three years and every time has been amazing. From the accommodations, to the brilliant guides, to the amazing chef, to the supportive staff and to Adrian and Angie who always go above and beyond, this is a vacation that's worth every penny. I've caught my limit on King and Halibut both times I've gone out. That alone is worth the 5 star review.
Loved everything about my first trip to Canada with Reel Obsession Sports Fishing. I was the rookie with two others whom have gone multiple times. Food at dinner was off the charts good! Fishing was nearly perfect in many ways. Staff were friendly, helpful and eager to please. Adrian was our skipper for two day of thee and comes very highly recommended. He knows the water, fishing and conditions.
This was our first time fishing with Reel Obsession. I have fished long-range boats out of San Diego since 1992 and decided it was time to try fishing closer to home. The reviews on Reel Obsession were excellent. The price was fair. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the owner and other staff who answered all of our questions regarding the next few days of fishing. The boats and equipment were top-notch. Since I am comfortable using my own equipment, I brought and used my rods and reels with no problems at all. Our trip began August 1, 2018. My wife and I had three action packed days of fishing. The guides on the boats were very helpful and made sure we caught our limits. The fish we caught was processed, vacuum sealed, bagged by each specific fish, and then quick frozen. We filled two three foot long coolers with frozen fish fillets. The lodge featured an excellent chef who prepared gourmet meals nightly. Breakfast was a variety of goodies to choose from and the packed lunch took us all day to eat on the boat. Even the gravel logging road (26 miles) was in great shape. I was able to do 45 MPH on some sections. I would definitely book this lodge again and would highly recommend to all fishermen.
The best fishing vacation! We can't stop talking about our fishing vacation with Reel Obsession Sport Fishing! Aaron was our guide and his love to fish and fun personality along with great fishing made for a super fun 3 days! At the dock we were always greeted with a smile from the Big Swiss while he filleted fish. In addition to the great fishing, the lodge and all of the staff were wonderful and Billy's food was amazing. Thank you Billy, Christine & Alicia. Once again Reel Obsession delivered another successful and exciting fishing trip to remember. The first class treatment and hospitality from owners Adrian & Angie along with staff is second to none while making you feel like home from the minute you arrive. 5 star dining from Chef Bill was over the top accompanied by the ever helpful Alicia and Christine. Out on the water our group was impressed every day with our guide Norm whose tireless efforts paid off with a tub full of salmon, halibut, ling cod, & rock fish. Counting the days until next years trip already. Tight lines and tips up!
